All the levels of tasks are available. Complete at least one task every week (up to 3 different tasks available). Your tutor will mark and provide you feedback. Tasks will be open on Thursday after the group session. Different category every week (see the content above). Weekly tasks (Course Sites by Blackboard): Learn new vocabulary by playing games with co-learners. Share or reflect your questions from weekly tasks.

Provide information about the JLPT and same format of the exam questions to help learners to familiarise the exam. The last week will provide revisions or additional work following to the outcome of your mock test. In the 9th week's session, a mock test will be carried out and you will receive feedback during the last session. In addition, you will be given homework (including the Kanji and vocabulary list to memorise) to complete at home. Following the induction and initial assessment during the first week's session, 4 hours of Grammar, 5 hours of Reading, 4 hours of Kanji & Vocabulary and 2 hours of Listening section practice in the class during the course will be provided. It will be done by individuals, pair or group. The course will provide information about the JLPT and adequate amount of sample questions to help you ready for the exam. There will be a group session every Thursday. N1-N5: Summary of Linguistic Competence Required for Each Level. The following resources offer further information on N5 to N1 levels and self assessment: You have already achieved a level similar to the CEFR A2 or completed the Post-beginners (level 2) or the Intermediate level (level 3) or you have enough knowledge to be on track with the group N4: You are already knowledgeable in Hiragana, Katakana and Kanjis. You have already achieved a level similar to the CEFR A1 level or completed the Beginners (level 1) or you have enough knowledge to be on track with the group. N5: You can already manage in basic situations using the present tense, and you have knowledge of Hiragana and Katakana and some basic Kanjis. *Includes all tuition, access to VLE (virtual learning environment), handouts but not a textbook.
This course will be taught in a group of minimum 6 and maximum 12 students. It comprises 10 hours of group sessions and 20 hours of asynchronous learning on Coursesites VLE.
